Robert Sujansky was awarded a doctoral degree from the Department of Educational Psychology at Indiana University of Pennsylvania, with a major course of study in neuropsychology and learning disorders. He earned a Master of Science degree in School Psychology from Florida International University and a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from the University of Pittsburgh.


Dr. Sujansky taught severely emotionally disturbed children at the Bertha Abess Children’s Center in Miami and trained practicum and intern students in special education from Florida International University. He has conducted parent education classes through the public school system and has been an adjunct college instructor for courses in psychology and education. While affiliated with a neuropsychology practice in Tampa, he assessed individuals with traumatic brain injury and developed remedial programs. Employed by the Hillsborough County School Board from 1977 to 2011, he provided services to students from pre-kindergarten to high school, including those with low prevalence conditions. Dr. Sujansky has supervised specialist and doctoral interns from the University of South Florida. His practice focuses on children and adolescents who are experiencing learning and behavior disorders.


Dr. Sujansky is a licensed school psychologist in Florida and a licensed psychologist in Pennsylvania. He is also a Nationally Certified School Psychologist. Research interests include ADHD, learning disabilities, and social competence of handicapped children, and he has presented at national conferences on these topics.
