What is the cost of services?

There is no charge for an initial phone or in-person consultation. Fees are based on the time required for reviewing records, testing, verbal feedback of results, report writing, etc., and will vary depending on the type of service provided. You will receive an exact quote prior to beginning the process.

Are fees covered by my health insurance?

My office will provide an invoice that you can submit for reimbursement. You should discuss the benefits described in your policy with a claim representative. Some insurers will pay a specific amount for in-network practitioners and less for those out of network. Others will not cover services they deem to be educational, as opposed to medically necessary.

Will the school system accept your findings?

After verifying the credentials of a practitioner, the results can be used for educational planning. However, they are only one part of a diagnostic profile, which usually includes observations, testing, and progress data conducted by school personnel. Decisions about interventions and special education services are made by a team that reviews information from all pertinent sources.

What if my child needs remediation or other services not provided at school or by your office?

As a resident and practitioner in this area for many years, I have established a network of referral sources, including well-respected pediatric neurologists, psychiatrists, mental health therapists, and tutors, who can help your child reach their potential.
